Internal stakeholder involvement

Stakeholder interviews ensure the project will support your business goals. Any interface design needs to balance the needs of your customers and your business goals. We assess these to find the right mix for your project.

Clear agreement on preferred approach

  • We get clear agreement on desired outcomes
  • We can gain agreement on which sets of customers are the priority for the design, and what business problems the design is trying to solve for them
  • Your stakeholders have the opportunity to be heard and to have clear input into the process
  • We bring stakeholders up to speed with the user-centred design process and what it will mean for them, setting their expectations
  • We develop a clear focus for initial research or interactions with customers
  • We identify any potential risks, issues and concerns relating to the project.

What we do

We interview key stakeholders, either individually or in groups, depending on your budget and preference. We ask them their views on the business objectives for the site or application, and the vision they have for how the new system will work.

This allows us to uncover:

  • current problems
  • envisaged solutions
  • differing priorities among different business lines
  • plans for expansion and business growth
  • how the system fits into the current and planned business focus.

The results of these interviews feed into the work we do in defining business goals for the project.
